Danetta Genung NCJCL State Convention Coordinator
North Carolina Junior Classical League's State Convention takes place over the course of a day and a half and includes many of the same contests as the National Junior Classical League's annual convention; NCJCL even offers a few unique to our state, such as the Poetry and Skit Contests. See the Contest Handbook below for details.
In addition to contests, NCJCL offers workshops for students' enrichment, as well as opportunities for fellowship with their peers. The election for NCJCL State Officers also occurs. Olympika events and chariot racing round out the competition.
